I’ve been having a few issues lately with my i30. First being my engine would randomly stall but when it started back up it was fine. As it was an intermittent fault, it wouldn’t come up on the scanner. Finally replaced the crankshaft sensor and that fixed the issue. Fast forward a month to today, I was driving to work and my check engine light came on. There was no difference to performance so I drove to work and then drove home (2 hours round trip). When I got home, I turned the car off and then on again. The car felt shaky for around a minute and the engine light remained on? The spark plugs have only just been replaced as well (roughly 2 months ago). I do have a mechanic coming to look later

Can I upgrade a 2017 i30 (third gen/PD) head unit without CarPlay to the bigger 8" variant with Apple CarPlay? I think the existing one is around 5", but without CarPlay, and I would really really love that. I see on Youtube that others replace the head unit (even to the newest 10"+ unit from N-line), but cannot find enough details, other that the physical part seems to be plug and play between the head unit variants (agree?). But is there any code(s) needed or other setup requirements? And a recommended place/way to buy a unit? Would be very happy if it's possible, and eager to give it a go, with proper instructions.

I bought steel rims for my i30 with 15" tires. I double-checked the sizes everywhere I could to ensure a perfect fit. I used the oponeo.pl (online Polish good shop) configurator and consulted the Hyundai instruction manual that came with the car. Everything seemed to match perfectly. For 15" tires for i30 2023 1.0 T-GDI , they were supposed to be 6.0Jx15", with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, a 67.1mm center bore, and an ET of 46. I purchased them on Allegro (Polish online shop), and they were described as "Hyundai OE" (Original Equipment). I thought I couldn't have done more to ensure the right rims. I bought winter tires separately and had them mounted and balanced. Now, I'm swapping the wheels. I remov ...

Hello, Recently the cruise control wont start. pressing the set button wont enable it. I have checked both switches from the brake pedal and the clutch and they work. the thing is that both the shift indicator and the cruise control stopped working at the same time. I did check with OBD scanner if there is any codes but nothing. Car is clear from problems and is working perfectly (engine) but its irritates me when something is not working right. Any idea how to fix this problem? Thanks!
