so. whomsoever put this together was either using winders98 or 2000....     I wonder if you could go and get netfraemwork2 redistribtion package and install that, without buggering up you computer which like the rest of us are all up to date.   I don't s'pose it will run on a Linux OS will it, nar, don't talk daft Asa....   I can't see an immediate fix for this.

Can't you run the setup in compatibility mode? I'd suggest WinXP SP1

Thanks for the advice, I think for me it would be a laborious process, I don't need the

manual as a matter of urgency, but I would like to know, what's going on beneath the
bonnet.

Compatibility mode simply involves right-clicking the executable (.exe) file, select "properties", then click the "compatibility" tab. You can then select which version of the O/S to emulate...

Thanks for the info. I have tried it on a number of applications, XP2 service pack 3, it seems to load the viewer and the manual, then states the systems are incomparable.

I am hoping the software firm will reply back to my email within the next few days, and hopefully it will be sorted.

Has anyone received this manual?  I ordered online and received acknowledgement of payment but nothing else.  How long before anything happens?  I assume it is a download link.

I complained  about non-deliveryto the payment provider and to the supplier and have now received a refund.

Yes, If I can get it to work, I will let you know. I have tried a number of options to try & open the CD files in the viewer, they have all failed to date.
