Yeah, they are cheap, just be aware it doesn't include the grill cover as shown......

I paid $70 odd for the 5 piece set last year and thought they were a bargain at the time.

And one of these days I might even get around to fitting them...:whistler:  :p  :-[

I purchased from this same seller not long ago. I paid around $90 shipped before the price dropped. It looks great but the problem is that the double sided tape isn't the best so I will probably go along and replace with some better 3m double sided tape.

Yes sorry, I mean better 3M double sided tape such as the VHB [very high bond] range which seems to hold absolutely anything compared to the other 3M double sided tape. Applied some last night and it holds great now  :)

I used some "Outdoor Double Sided Tape" MMM product too, it was for a camera mount on my windscreen so I could post to this forum. The angle was wrong so I needed to remove it, the glue would not let go. After much heaving, the spongy material disintegrated leaving the glue on the glass. I had to get a blade to remove it. It is a great product.  :goodjob2:

Am I missing something?
What is the appeal of carbon fibre?

It just looks like striped plastic to my untrained eye and I've never been a fan to be honest.

Proper carbon fibre probably is, but would the cheap stuff on eBay be?
Or is that just a carbon fibre "look?"

I reckon Julia Gillard's Prime Ministerial chair would be covered in this stuff.
