I've had a quick look (I'm not a javascript programmer) and created a forum "page" to run it (we cannot run a form within a post).

I also stripped out the HEAD and BODY stuff as SMF already provides them, but here's what it looks like:

Hello from the Careers Expo!
I'm having a nice real, free coffee at the exhibitors' lounge with net access.
The calculator works for me. Take all the code and save it as an aspx file, then open it in your browser. Perhaps pasting the text into a post changed something if the posting process misinterprets some tags as functional. I'll e-mail the working aspx file to anyone who wants to test it.

A useful addition for us Brits would be to enable you to enter the distance in units of either miles or kilometers
