But it also reveals how the price of a pint can vary, depending on where you are. In fact, the average price of a pint can change by as much as 82p when looking at it county by county.

I live in Lancashire where a pint is £3.27 apparently. My local offers Greene King IPA at £1.99. Sometimes it isn't too great though so I switch to Guinness at £3.  My favourite barmaid puts a shamrock onto the head of my Guinness. She does it very well, should go to art college I think.

I know that Broome won't be on the list for cheap pints.  $14 AUD for a pint of beer!!  Even with the current exchange rate, that is 6.40 GBP!!

Broome prices are quite normal in Perth, depending where you go.

Grahamstown pubs vary from AU$1.50 - AU$2.10 for a 500ml draught, and here in Port Elizabeth they rarely go above AU$1.70 for the same brew.

The most expensive I have had was at the Raddison Blu where they were IIRC around AU$2.80 per draught, and the cheapest was at a student pub in Port Alfred where the beers were less than what you could find at the liquor store
