I'm curious how much a difference they make.  0.1MPG? 0.01MPG?  Intuitively, they shouldn't make much of a difference. But, I guess, aerodynamics is often counter-intuitive, especially around the high vortex areas in and around the wheel-well.

i remember seeing those tyres in a magazine a few years ago. there was also a pic of a car that was running rims that had duel tyres on it, similar to a truck.

Yep. Yokohama did the dual tyre thingy IIRC.
