Thanks for the info Alan. Unfortunately, the new shaped i30 is not what I fell in love with almost 4 years ago :(

Hmm?
Now that's nice.
I haven't taken to the current "update" but that's nice.
Might have to go out and get me one of those $31million Gold Lotto jackpot tickets.

You'd be wasting your money, Trev, I'm winning it this Saturday night... :p  :D

Not my cup of tea either... but I'm not up for a replacement this time around so perhaps after they get over the current shape we might again see some flowing lines and pleasant integration. Some of these new cars appear to be two different cars grafted at the A pillar.

A brochure that I am advised I requested arrived through my letterbox yesterday, from the recently opened Hyundai dealership nearby.

It was just about i30's.... but all the old shape (like I currently have) but priced between £13,7870 for a 1.4 5dr Classic to £18,750 for a 1.6 Crdi Classic.

I'd have expected some heavy discounting of old stock ready for when the new version rolls out....

You need to shop around - there are some great price deals at present at a number of dealerships. Google is your friend.

I like it,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Depending on how the repaired car looks, whenever I get it back, I might be tempted as mine will be 5 years old in September..

Problem I've got is I don't do the high mileage now to warrant going for the crdi at £15k plus
  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if

Keeping my current i30, there's nothing to dislike about it being the last of the 1.6 petrol Premiums... none of that "part leather" behaviour for me lol... plus my car still has all the gadgets whistles & bells I'll ever need!

when i/we look at the 2012 i30 it will only be the base model, that's what we have each at the moment.  our cars only have two airbags, driver and passenger.    :disapp:

At 26,500 miles mine has now become velvet smooth with non of the harshness the motoring Press levelled at the 1.6 versus the 1.4.
