Was in the supermarket this morning and spotted an "every car review" TG magazine so had to open it up and have a look at what they are saying about the new i30.

The mag is more extensive about it than them web review, but overall they are very complimentary about it, typical TG in that they slate the lower POWERRRRR engines, but in terms of overall drivability, comfort and practicality they are keen to put the word Golf in the same sentence as i30, and in the mag even describe it as "a Korean car with an Audi design".

They were quite low marks that didn't really match some of the commentary.
But how's this bit?:

Cool

It’s a bit of a leap of faith, but the i-30 is quite cool right now, turning heads and sparking debate as it passes. Who knows if that’ll last, but at the very least it’s got people talking.

And then give it a cool rating of 4/10

I guess it's all relative, overall they give it 7/10, the new Astra only got 6/10 from them :undecided:

i think the only way TG would give the i30 a 10/10 is if you removed the word Hyundai from it,and replaced the 4cyl engine with a big v8.  :disapp:  badge snobs.
