I have to say the new GT does look nicer and is more updated. But the whole thing about the dude not feeling the pep in the engine is a little bit of a disappointment.

I will agree, I like the looks of the new GT, the engine size and cargo room are a big disappointment! I was surfing the web last night and went to both Hyundai UK and AU sites. I was sad(for us here) to see that both models, GT & Touring or i30 & i30CW wagon, are offered, but not here in the US. :blubber: Here they now offer a coupe version of the Elantra(dont think it will sell well)
I must say I really like the i40 Tourer, it is "sharp looking", wished we had it here.

They are now making an even nicer (more modern) version in their European Factory as per this link from Australia (hopefully you can view it) if not do Google search for 2012 i30 CW or i30 Wagon...

http://www.caradvice.com.au/160338/2012-hyundai-i30-wagon-revealed/

The European factory mainly only supplies the European Market.

USA, Canada and Australia and the Asian Market I assume are supplied from the Korean Factory and as far as I am aware there are no plans to build the CW there.. :Pout:

Hyundai are struggling to keep up with world demand for their products

Thanks for the link, I was able to view, and I like the looks, but I think you are correct in it wont come to the US, the new line up of the GT and Coupe seem to be the only offerings :Pout:
Time will tell and I still don't believe the Coupe will stay long.

The coupe is not a bad looker (nicer looking than the Veloster) and I feel it would sell OK in Australia (we probably won't get it though ) :Pout:

I will agree, looks arn't bad. Was checking one out when I was getting my service. My big problem is with the back seat area and trying to get in. It might go over with a younger single crowd, but is no family ride.
