Looks like one model is really trying to fix the headlight range.

And it's not vinyl wrap, its hail protection.

I hope they haven't made the rear end ugly, like another Korean car manufacturer.

I'd be happy if they lost the ugly front grill of the current model, but it sounds like I'm out of luck...  :undecided:

Have you seen the front on the new Kia Sportage.....Talk about killing it....

Not sure I like the zip access to the rear Hatch...  :undecided:
I saw an article about how manufacturers camouflage new vehicles while driving them pre-release. If I can locate it I'll post a link...

It's almost like they took everything I hated about the ix35 and put it on the Sportage.....The headlights are just too small for starters....

I'd say much the same as what we have now, Lester... :undecided:

From the article:

while the rest of the i30's petrol and diesel engine range will be carried over with minor changes.

I sure hope they will introduce the T-GDI 1,0 100 & 120 HP like the Ceed have and what about that 1,4 T-GDI ..?? Time for some modern petrol engines in the i30.

Or the 2 litre petrol engine that was in the Aussie FD,  105kw.

I am sure it is only a matter of time before the 1.0T engines get aired on the i30.  For the record I had a shot of a Cee'd 1.0T in mid range guise (not the GT Line) and the Kia unit is MUCH more refined than Ford's.  Both have that odd 3 cylinder "uneven" note, but the Kia version is much less rough and compared to the Focus the Cee'd seemed much more eager, the Focus was a bit dowdy IMO.

And who designed the dash in the Focus?  You need a degree in electronics to push all those buttons in the right order, it makes me laugh that eating, smoking and texting at the wheel are regarded (rightfully) as dangerous, yet manufacturers can cram all those buttons into the car on the basis that it "enhances" the driving experience.

This could be why there is little incentive for certification agencies to do a good job:
