A legal case concerning the sale of video-streaming set-top boxes that can access subscription content for free, begins on Tuesday.

So-called "fully-loaded Kodi boxes" have gained popularity, but the legality of their sale is in question.

Middlesbrough trader Brian Thompson is accused of selling equipment that "facilitated the circumvention" of copyright protection measures.

Never bothered with Kodi after first use, pour quality video output and long delay when watching games live...

Open box with a C line is far better although HD is no longer available <sigh>

A pal of mine uses Zgemma for cable and that still gets full HD.

The investment required to prevent this kind of circumvention must be astronomical and beyond what Rupert is prepared to pay since this scene has been around since the inception of satellite tele  :faint: :faint: :faint:

There are several other boxes all of which can be found by using your best friend Mr Google
