nice one.. Looks like mine..
Mine is not due until Early August .. But will be a CRDi with factory Cruise.. Prob one of the first ones around here.. When I finally get it..
-
The sad things is mine was due about a month ago :( :(
-
There it was...Gone
What's the latest eta...Dave?
There was a nice Moonlight Blue SR in the showroom in Devonport a few days ago! They also had a Black SX auto and A petrol SLX (steel grey)...
-
Left Perth at the beginning of last week. Was told that unless
something goes wrong i'd have it by the weekend. It is now
Monday night and no word. Tomorrow will be the end of my patience.
I'M PAYING FOR A CAR I DON'T EVEN HAVE YET
-
Dave,
Interesting that it is coming from Perth. Someone else suggested Hyundai drop cars in Perth of the ship and then freight them across to Adelaide. I thought that strange at the time, but you have confirmed it.
All the info from the dealer at the time we got ours suggested ours was dropped off in Adelaide.

Have they told you why the delay?
-
Maybe they are shipping it to Iceland...they can get more for it over there
-
Sorry Dave.. I know the last few days are the worst (so near and yet so far!)
-
My car is supposably in SA, was dropped off there by the ship. and now ive got to wait about 3 weeks for it to get from SA to WA... this is like month and half past original due date

Bob are you able to confirm this with your dealer. LeeUm's post suggests that they are. Very confusing
-
Dave,
Bit confusing, I admit. As I am going past the dealer tomorrow I will pop in and ask if I have time.

Why? is that right ?
-
The ships unload in about 8 to 10 hours , havibg a ship tied up in port is big bucks . Would imagine customs would take 1 to 2 days ? Then from Fremantle port onto a truck to holding yard 1 day . Probaly the another day from holding yard to train freight yard , then onto S.A , 3 days . Of train onto a truck to a holding yard in Adelaind . From holding yard to dealer ? . It took my dealer 10 days to bring my car from the holding yard in Perth to Mandurah 60 klm south go figure. W.A = wait awhile . I would ask to see some paper work on the cars where abouce .It should all be tracked some how like parcel post.

-
Hehe. I'd like TWO of those
-
Shambles, I see your ASSING around today.
-
I think they are giving 2 keys with remote now with new cars, at last over here in Croatia..
When I drove test car this week I saw there ware 2 keys on the keyring like on the picture above..
It seems there ware too much complaints so they changed their politics about remote keys..
BTW... nice car Dave
-
congratulations with your new car, looks good
-
A WET WEATHER PHOTO

dave, is your dashmat off an elantra or something like that cause it looks very similar to mine and i found out mines off an elantra.
-
It's a genuine i30 one, but the Elantra dash is the same shape.

Is that a personalized plate? Interesting designation.. didn't think that was your final choice but fairly distinctive anyway.. ;)
Cheers,
Dazz
-
Toptastic
I'd get that Stillwell sticker off the rear window as it's reflected by the spoiler
-
The car Still (looks) well but...
-
Will order my personalised plates this week. Still going with DAV 130.
Stillwell sticker will be soon replaced with "Owners Club" decal.
-
Those standard plates look pretty neat (if it were me I'd keep them and spend the $$$ on some other improvement
-
What more can i do to it (apart from exhaust). It's an SR . I've got new dash and floor mats.
Cargo liner, 17" alloys, window tinting, new headlight globes & bodykit.
Sun-roof could be an option in the future.
-
Yeah Good point but the plates are still pretty neat as they are...

-
Geez they both look good.. think the white background stands out more...
-
Those plates would be great on an SX version. Nice looking car Dave. I shall keep my eye open for it. Let us, regardless of the plates you have.
Bob
-
looking good, I'd take the white plate.
-
Hi Bob
I'll be down your way for a few days as i'm working in Bordertown
at the end of this week.
-
Great pics of a fantastic looking car.
Hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoy mine.
Tim

Looks fantastic Dave, I am sure the wait was worth it.
Great choice of colour (same as mine ) Hope you voted for steel grey.
