Both the front window motors went in my GD at different times. One was replaced under warranty and the second has been cactus for about 2 years. At the recent service I mentioned I wanted it fixed and was quoted about $800. I expressed my disappointment that not one but both had failed, and was offered a goodwill repair.

Yet to see if they come good on the offer though.

So would it be correct in saying all the servicing has been done by this dealer?

Yes welll, one failed motor is bad luck, but two??

Sounds like a bad batch of motors. Tis a thing they are possibly aware of.

Claim was denied and so I called Hyundai and offered them the opportunity to honor their statutory warranty before I make a claim to the ACCC. The consumer guarantee states:

Products must be of acceptable quality, that is:

    safe, lasting, with no faults
    look acceptable
do all the things someone would normally expect them to do.

I've suggested one faulty motor is bad luck, but two is definitely a problem and certainly does not meet the consumer guarantee. Car had less than 40000km on it when it happened on the drivers side. The first failed at around 30000km. Neither would have been operated more than a few times. Personally, I'm guessing its a bad connection rather than a failed motor.

Lets see what happens next.
