I can only open the boot when I press the key fob. It isn’t opening when I just generally open the car with the fob or when I open the car with the button on the drivers door. I have tried a replacement tailgate latch and checked the fuse, but no joy. Any suggestions?

Can you hear the boot latch trying to move when you lock and unlock the car ?
