So since getting my 1st service last week I have had a spring/clunk noise coming from my rear shocks every time I turn up a ramp.

Took it to my local dealer (the service manager there like to argue against anything) and they couldn't even hear the noise. So eventually he agreed to go for a drive we me as long as he could drive and it then heard the noise very clearly!

He put it on the ramp and said he still couldnt find any fault with the car and said its probably the wheel on "wrong". And that its my fault for going to a Hyundai main dealer other than them! Unsurprisingly this didn't fix the problem and it still happens.

I decided to mount my skydiving video camera under the car and video it to see if I could find the problem. (I'm not mechanical at all, but Im a techie)
I cant help but chuckle to my self about this video, Its kinda my way of sticking two fingers up at them

Great video!  :goodjob:

I don't think I'd be wasting my time going back to that dealer if he has that sort of attitude.....  :undecided:

After 3 trips to the dealer and then leaving it with them for 3 full days they found the problem. A small stone in the suspension......

They implied as it was my fault I could be charged £80 per hour for all the DAYS they have spent on it. I wasn't having any of this as they took all the suspension off on the 2nd visit so if it had a stone in it, it would have been found when they stripped it. My guess is that they have actually replaced something and just aren't admitting it.

Its a sad state of affairs when you cant trust your main dealer at all.

Anyway, all fixed so Im happy  :happydance:
