The final of the Big Bash League (Australian Domestic T20 tournament) is on tonight, Australian time.  The Hobart Hurricanes travel to the WACA to face the Perth Scorchers.  These teams finished 3rd and 4th in the regular season, and earned their spots by beating the highly fancied Melbourne Stars (the Collingwood / Manchester United of the BBL) and Sydney Sixes.  These teams have now also qualified for the lucrative Champions League tournament on the sub-continent later in the year, a financial windfall for both teams. 

I really hope it is a good game.

Then I suppose my topic title got the desired result, getting people to have a look, expecting something else.  Nobody would have opened it if it had have been "Hobart vs Perth in T20 Final"

BTW, well done to the Scorchers, third time lucky, and well deserved.  They played better on the day.
