Hi, Do any i30's have this feature from the factory?

My old 2007 Focus had it and so do most new cars! Just wondering if the feature could be added?

Thanks

3 flashes on a touch? I think the new MY2011 australian cars might have it (Daz goes to try) but no one has mentioned the UK cars having it.

I've got to take Trish's car to have the tinting done today so I'll try and remember to check for that feature.. :goodjob:

UK i30's have flick indicators but no one touch option (yet).

You can hold the indicator stalk to the first "stop" and it will indicate until such time as you let go :D

I'm after the 3 or 5 flash thing, purely as I use the car for work and am on the motorway a lot!

I had a hire car in the UK late last year (Vauxhaul Corsa) and it had that feature.
Couldn't work out WTF was wrong with the indicators for a day or two.

I think Vauxhall's also have 'push on' indicators, I.E. they don't click on, you just move the stalk.

Yup they are nuts. I occasionally get hire astras and they are a pain to make cancel when you want.

Yeah, something like that.
Plus they are on the WRONG BLOODY SIDE of the steering column. (took me back to my Reanault owning days).

My Volvo C30 has them.

A real pain if you catch the stalk, you can't stop them. Trying to cancel only indicates the other way

Glad this i30 does not do it personally. And another annoying feature on the C30 is the hazard lights come on if you brake hard and come to a stop

G'day All,

I have a MY11 and can confirm that the Lane Change Indicator is standard now on SLX and SR (Australian delivery). One touch, three flashes (reminds me of a girl I once knew).
