Title: 2009 i30 wheel fitment advice
Post by: L5NTN on October 22, 2018, 19:43:54
Hi Guys. I have a 2009 i30 fd on standard 15 alloys. Id like an upgrade to some 16s but just wondered what other makes or manufacturer will fit my car.
Are mazda a similar fitment? I believe my car is 5x114?
Many thanks

Stud pattern would fit but the rim offset is likely wrong.

Factory standard was

205/55R16   6Jx16 ET50   5x114.3   M12 x 1.5   , 67.1(centre bore)

Your 15s are likely

195/65R15   5.5Jx15 ET47   5x114.3   M12 x 1.5   67.1

you may find a website to compare, I found this US one,

:link: Wheel-Size.com :: Reference guide for car wheel and tire dimensions such as size, offset, PCD (https://www.wheel-size.com/)
you can enter the rim specs and reverse search vehicles types

not an expert on how far you can deviate from the offset as that changes the loading on the stub axle

Try to score some 16" FD  alloys off SLX or Trophy
