My little camera appears to have done something to its SD card which is registering as full, despite being empty and Windows is refusing to (re)format it!!

One reason I returned my first & second versions of that camera. You might find that explorer sees hundreds of files with hieroglyphic names... needed a full fat32 reformat. Poor firmware...

Vid #2 was a bit bumpy/rough in parts on the road, and you're right about having "evidence"  which is why I record my trips

Windows XP could not do anything with this card, it did however recognise that a card was there which both Vista and Win7 steadfastly refused to do.  I found an old Samsung 2Gb uSD card in my box of goodies and put that in the camera and it is fine....2Gb card will only record 30mins of video however.

I then did a hunt and found an SD reformat program which originally decided that the duff card was 8Gb (correct) and I reformatted from there............only to find that the card only now registers 2Gb free, so I am fairly sure that it is the cheap unbranded cards they are sending rather than the camera which is the problem..............
