What mode does everyone use?  Just curious, that's all.  I currently have ECO mode, no idea what each of the modes do though LOL.

I haven't noticed much if any difference in the steering with the different modes in the PD. It is more related to the gearing and revs (in my SR Turbo model anyway)

I find eco a bit sluggish and didn't seem to make a measurable difference to economy.

I use Normal mode which seems the best compromise.

Sport tends to lift the revs about 500 RPM which makes the SR a bit too perky and makes a noticeable difference to the amount of engine noise entering the cabin. I also suspect it would increase fuel consumption noticeably.

I find in Normal mode response is acceptable in normal driving and you still have plenty of go if you need it.

In the diesel is much the same too, engine/gearbox changes only between modes. I think the N is the only i30 right now that changes suspension and steering settings on push button control.
