I assumed the bulb had gone so replaced it (also changed 9 months ago) but it is not still turning on. The interior map lights (if that's what they are called) are workingt the fine
Any ideas what it could be if no bulb or fuse? Anything I could look at / open and tinker with? Thanks

If you're referring to the dome light, check that the switch is in the correct position to have it function.

I didn't know it was called the DOME light! Yes, I have tried the switch in all positions, including the correct setting - unfortunately nothing

Are you sure there's no corresponding fuse? Try the ROOM LP in the centre of the fuse box. Also, I recall there's a special fuse holder in the centre that can be pulled out and pushed in like a switch to quickly disengage some power.

Thanks - will try, although I think I might have looked at that option. Cheers

Check the new bulb is a good one.....

The door / on / off switch could be broken to the off position.

Just an update on this. The bulb I replaced twice was a 12v 10w interior bulb from Halfords (UK). I took out one of the map reading lights which also one of those Festoon type bulbs, but it was 12v 8w - and it worked in the dome light!
But like hell can I find the 12v 8w (31mm) Festoon type anywhere! 12v 5w seems very common. Any ideas please? Thanks
