Title: Audio unit stuck on "TEST START / FACTORY DEFAULT" screen after battery drain
Post by: Lima Yankee on February 24, 2024, 02:50:23
Hi,

After having a flat battery, the touchscreen on my 2016 i30 is stuck on this screen:

Pressing the "factory default" button just turns the button grey, and does nothing else:

Any ideas on how to fix?

I've searched this forums and the internet more generally and found only one other post about this issue, and it did not include a solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/Hyundai/comments/ovm27p/audio_reset_after_battery_drain/ (https://www.reddit.com/r/Hyundai/comments/ovm27p/audio_reset_after_battery_drain/)

TIA

The solution that worked for me was:

1. Pull out the "MULTIMEDIA" fuse, located in the instrument panel fuse box. (Use the fuse removal tool located in the engine bay fuse box.)
2. Wait a minute.
3. Replace the fuse..
