was thinking, no matter what way you write H, it does not add class. so think an animal badge could improve there image. like Jags, lions. birds n so on. but what could they use?

Reckon it is just fine.

Works for Honda and Lexus.

The Hyundai badge looks quite good.  However, I think Kia should change their logo.

I think the Hyundai badge is fine, if they change it to something with "class" (whatever class is perceived to be ) the car price will double :snigger:

I can see where you are coming from John, but Hyundai has really started to lift their image over the last couple of years. Genesis is their luxury brand and they pinched Aston Martin's badge for that...  :whistler:

I'm with Beerman. It's irrelevant. the  H is fine and Honda's H is boring compared to the Hyundai H.

They could have no badge and still be classy.

Remember the Badge swapping in the 80's and 90's. yeah that added real class.  :sorry1:

I think there doing well, their reputation here has massivley improved since they were introduced 1991. They were known to rust and prone to problems(especially compared to similar era Volvos at the same price here).

And Hyundai does well and has a very good looking WRC car, which is popular around here.

I think the biggest lift they could do here is to ditch Hankook as OEM tire brand and go with something quieter.

Compared to KIA, Hyundai has a very good reputation, which seems odd considering the main difference is warranty period/distance.

And it signifies something meaningful.

Discovering the Origins the Hyundai Logo
While the “H” in Hyundai’s automobile logo does stand for the company’s name, it’s also a stylized picture: a silhouette of two individuals shaking hands. One individual is a company representative and the other is a satisfied customer. Their exchange is a handshake of trust and satisfaction between company and consumer. Also notice how the “H” is slanted forward, actively to the right, rather than passively to the left.
The oval around the figures indicates Hyundai’s global expansion, its aim to flourish in the worldwide market beyond the Asian continent.
