1st post,  I've got a 2015 i30 active,  non Sat Nav, but with the factory reverse camera, I'm replacing the factory head unit with a Pioneer unit as frankly,  the Bluetooth on my GD-2 head unit is terrible,  cuts out and locks up constantly and after 5 years,  I've had enough.

Any hoo, I've been reading up and hearing that the aerpro camera retention cable doesn't work when replacing the non sat nav unit with an aftermarket HU.

Has anyone had success in getting their "hidden" camera working when replacing their stock head unit? This is really a must have for me.
