I like the little 4" ones. I thought they would be safer, due to smaller wheel and less weight to handle. A 9" would be a fairly beefy unit with a lot of centrifugal force on the outer extremities of the wheel. Careful with it, it will buck like a bronco if the wheel binds.

Yeah they're not very forgiving. I'm kinda inheriting it.
Along with 3 electrical manuals for pre 1940's cars. I have no real use for them (besides the unlikely dream of building a 34 Plymouth) but how cool would they be.

manuals can return quite good prices on eBay. I sold a genuine mint condition xw workshop manual for double what I paid for it. It was a better investment than the car.

I don't plan on selling these. Will put some pics up when I get them. Aparrently they have steel edges and used to lock with a key.

I understand that Cu stands for copper....I thought when you said "the rest are Cu coins" , meant they were from some country.....

- Front left tyre deflation today on our freeway.
+ ESC works.
- I was called out to change the tyre.
- The tyre looks stuffed.
- The Hy jack is a very marginal piece of equipment.

Marzipan had the deflation after work today @ 100 kmh.

Fortunately, the tyre is nearly on the wear marks, so some new ones to be arranged quickly.

I'd hate to use the jack on a slope or soft ground. I had the best conditions and it still looked bent. The jack had never been used before. Didn't appreciate the traffic whizzing past @ 110kmh either.

It's funny how many people don't like OE jacks.
The Hy one is just a scissors jack. I prefer them.
