Quote from: Phil №❶ on March 12, 2017, 09:58:07Mine cost AU$12.00 and I thought they were expensive Yeah I've got some TDK noise cancelling ones... I thought long and hard before spending the $39.95! Mind you, I wasn't always so tight. I also have some Samsung bluetooth rechargeables that cost $50!
I thought we were talking about noise cancelling, not sound cancelling earphones.

Bought mine at Aldi for $40 . I hate to think what my Grandson paid for his headphones , he has a music production business and has just paid $3700 for a mic, thats without all the cables or mic stand.
I noticed a good price for the Bose QC35's from VideoPro's eBay site. If you use code "CYBER" you can get them for $367.50 - silver and black versions Bose QC35 Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones Silver 17817725453 | eBay

what is the best ear bud noise cancelling head gear??
Quote from: neptune on March 13, 2017, 14:47:43what is the best ear bud noise cancelling head gear??Ear buds usually will have a double seal ear plug for noise cancelling like in my pic, I find my Klipsch buds pretty much eliminate all noise on the single seal as they're super soft and seal extremely well but in a room of screaming children you might want the double seals You can buy mine if you want John, not much if anything on the market that sound better than these babies, I need wireless for me which is why I'm selling them.
are these noise isolating instead of noise cancelling?
Quote from: neptune on March 13, 2017, 16:04:21are these noise isolating instead of noise cancelling?Yes noise isolating would be the correct term, they don't use the electronic NC feature your thinking of, if you use wired noise cancelling headphones on your phone or similar you'll drain ya phones battery in a matter of hours.
When you say you only used them twice Craig, was that once for 6 months and then a 2nd time for 4 months... (only joking...)
House full of screaming kids you say? Maybe I should buy them...
