Hi guys, I just got a 2012 I30 cw CRDi. It is on red beautiful, but there are some small paint damage on the body. I want to buy a touch up paint kit to fix them, but I could not see the paint code on the car. There is a label on the jamb but not for the color.
I search on the internet, believe the paint code should be on the vim plate, but I could not find this plate. Anyone know this?

On the FD the code was on the plate in the passenger side door jamb, it was only the tyre pressures on the drivers side.

:whsaid: I'm sure it's the same on the GD's, passenger side door jamb, if i remember correctly. I don't check it daily :winker:

:wts: Passenger side centre pillar, should be a Black plate ,the colour code will only be either 1 or 2 letters, not sure about over there, but here one of our major dealers do touch up kits and spot bottles

Dealer will order paint from vin number

Checked the label on the passager jamb, can see the paint code is TRP, anyone know that is "TROPICAL RED" or "VOLCANIC RED" ? Thanks.

A simple Google search for the term "Hyundai paint code TRP" will bring amazing results, it appears to be Volcanic Red :)
