Defo for this thread..................... and today is not 1st April................ 

 A dog called Lemon has apparently become a local celebrity after his retired army dog trainer owner taught him how to help out on his Russian farm.

If these photos are genuine (and not just cleverly posed), it appears the black Riesenschnauzer is the cream of the crop when it comes to farmhands.

Filling buckets of water and carrying them is definitely trainable to a dog, not so sure about driving the sowing machine ( in a straight line ) though   but anything's possible and dogs have performed some pretty amazing things in the past

Though when you've seen some of the things that have been taught to disability dogs, search and rescues and dogs in the armed services the farming task isn't unobtainable.
