Shame they didn't post up some better photos as it would be interesting to see how much wider the "cat" is compared to the caravan...
As most of the weight of a caravan is low, you'd think it would be reasonably stable...

Catamarans are stable in calm waters, but absolutely terrible in larger sea states.  They don't ride very well with larger seas.
