Some people hate him, and I certainly disagree with him on most things (he's way too left of centre for me), but I've said before that BS seems to be a bit of a voice of reason within the ALP and I see that he has put his hand up for the leadership. AA is still considering.

He certainly speaks well and is quite polished in the media spotlight.

Don't be fooled, BS is just that, BS. They got trounced on Saturday and to sound conservative about the future, is just the way to fool average labor mp into voting for him. Not that I care who gets the leadership votes.

BS was the architect for krudd and gillard wasn't he. Would YOU trust him

No, I don't trust him.
I know he was involved in both affairs.
I can in some way feel sorry for him though because it would have been difficult to be loyal to the leader with what was happening, on both occasions.
Perhaps they need some new blood.
Whoever takes over now though isn't necessarily who will be the opposition leader come the next election and I suspect that AA is considering that very fact right now.

Absolutely not.
They were such a bad government though and I think they will become more viable if they do things right.
We need alternatives.
I'm Liberal through & through (as if you didn't know) but the ALP became a joke.
I happen to think they now have an opportunity to right the wrongs and come back strong in six years' time.

Why is it that we have to have the labor party as the opposition. If ANY other party could win enough seats, we wouldn't have to bother with this bunch.

True.
They've been around a long time though so probably aren't going anywhere soon.
