So another dopey question from me..

How the heck do I change the time on my car ?!?!

I cant seem to find it in the instruction manual (Its gotta be in there I just cant see it!) and everything I search online tells me to press buttons I dont have....

this is what my dash looks like for those playing at home:

Press Setup, scroll to Clock, set the time - no problems. Not a silly question: I forgot I could set 12/24, so long since I'd touched it.

Oops, your dash looks different.
Mine looks like this:

And just to correct the detail, once you hit SETUP, use the tuning dial to select TIME below the CLOCK option, then press the tuning dial to reveal the 12HR/24HR selection, followed by a final press of the dial button.

But in your case, you will need to find which button gets you into the setup in the first place.

you have to hold down the power button and it gets you into a menu, then turn the volume dial to get the menu you want, then do a little dance and tap your head twice and the magical fairy in the car changes the time for you 

haha, but anyway its fixed now! I had been driving around with it about 25-30mins too fast.

Oh I don't know about that - I've seen some pretty dumb stuff to which you wouldn't hold a candle ... especially with ammunition involved.
