Another one of my never ending yet constantly annoying questions. I'm going to ask about it so not expecting a solution, just curious if anyone has had it happen to them.
This isn't the first time. Today I got in the car, hooked up my phone via bluetooth (if you don't recall I posted before about the fact that the stupid phone disconnects itself every time I turn the car off). I needed to call my daughter so I pressed the green phone button, dialed her number and on the 2nd ring the bluetooth disconnected. No big deal, I finished the call on my phone. Only problem was the stereo kept telling me the call was connected. I thought once I hung up it would go back to the radio but it didn't.
Instead the bluetooth icon was still lit despite the call having disconnected itself and a weird buzzing noise was coming from the speakers. I tried turning the stereo on and off about 5 times (persistence sometimes pays off
) but it was still doing it when I turned it back on, and none of the buttons could be pressed except the red phone button which turned the stereo back off. It was like it had frozen.
I pulled over, turned the car off, turned it back on, stereo came back but the buttons still wouldn't work and the touch screen was dead.
I needed to collect my daughter so turned it off, left it for about 10 minutes and when I came back all was working as usual.
Very weird. Anyone else?
