Just got the wagon back from the dealer after big warranty issues, part of which had the ECU replaced. Now the spare key and Bluetooth no longer work. The spare key turns the engine over but it won't fire. Bluetooth just does nothing when trying to pair an iPhone that previously worked but is no longer paired.

Am I right in thinking both issues are related to the new ECU?

Programming the key is dependent on individual codes stored in the ECU, so yes.

Don't know about bluetooth.  :Dunno:

Thanks Phil. Anyone know if the ECU has anything to do with Bluetooth?

I suspect all Bluetooth functions are handled by the radio, so I wouldn't think so. The ECU (Engine Control Unit) is pretty busy, looking after the engine.

Like Phil said, all keys must be programmed at the same time.

Programming only 1 key will make the rest not work.

I don't see any connection to the BT issue.

Thanks all. The spare key needed to be re-coded and the Bluetooth head will be replaced under warranty.  :goodjob:
