Hi All

I have an i30 which is coming up to 7 months old. Not had any problems until today, wondering if anyone has any ideas as to whether it’s a fuse or something more serious.

I drove into work fine this morning, but discovered the issues at lunchtime when I went to move my car. The problems I’ve discovered so far are:

-Central Locking not working (with the remote or the button in the car)
-Windows not working in both the driver and passenger seats
-Wipers not working on Mist or Interval mode, but they do on the medium and fast speed settings
-Full beam headlights not working.

I’ve had a flick through the manual and swapped a few fuses in the fuse panel with the same amp rating around but to no avail. Thinking it could be one of the fuses in the engine compartment but the manual doesn’t really help much.

Tried to book in with dealer but they can’t see it until next Monday so would rather fix myself before then if I can!

Thanks for any suggestions

Thanks for the suggestion! Oddly enough I just got back from the garage after trying that very thing. Only disconnected it for a few seconds and it seemed to sort itself out. Thanks.  :happydance:

More likely the BCM (Body Control Module) that needed a kick up the arse. That's now the 3rd time we've heard of symptoms like these, with a battery/BCM reset sorting it out :)
