Hi all i think I have a major drama with my FD steering rack that may require it to be replaced. The shaft on the passenger side that comes in and out of the rack tube has a lot of sideways play and it has just chewed out a brand new plastic end bush in a matter of 2 weeks.
Can someone shed some light on how to best go about removing the entire steering rack? I suspect it would be a major undertaking ...is this the case?   I have tried to search the site and google but i can only find info on replacing the star shaped bush in the column
