Hey all,

Have a 2017 PD SR-P and i've always disliked the weird-angled DRLs on it, so loved the N-line front when it came out. For someone who's done it, is putting an N-line front bar on an SR-P a straight swap? Do i need the grille too? And do the new DRLs plug in to the existing wiring or is soldering needed? Do the front parking sensors and adaptive cruise sensors etc cause any issues or do they plug into the new front with ease?

Hi, I did a similar procedure but with an Elantra Gt,
You will need all bumper grills with DRL from N-line or N-performance.
You don't need to solder anything with the DRL, but you need to pay attention to the number of PINs in your wiring, since there are DRLs with 3 and 6 PINs.

The "N" bumper has dents in the lower part of the car, so the fenders and plastic engine protection will need to be replaced.

I didn't do this, I went the other way, making the adapters, and in some places I just trimmed the fenders a little.

Front bumper "N-line" and "N-Performance"
may differ in configuration depending on the delivery market.
So "N-line" bumpers for the American and European markets differ in the lower DRL resits and the DRL lights themselves, and also differ in the lower spoiler.

The main difference between "N-line" and "N-Performance" is the mesh size of the main radiator grille.
In everything else, they are identical.

I was replacing my bumper with an Elantra GT Sport

There were no problems during installation.
Attachments to headlights, fenders and in the upper part are identical.
There will be inconsistencies with the flaps and engine protection.
They need to be replaced, or cut and sharpened in place, as I did.
