I would love to see an Australia wide meet where we say all meet in Alice Springs or Ayres Rock. Where we could all clock up the miles and take the cars for an impressive spin and test our fuel economy on the open road.

Any thoughts people???

It's a great idea.... but it would be a logistical nightmare to organise such an event.
Are you volunteering to organise it?
A trip to Alice Springs (which is closer to me than Ularu) would take me on a round
trip of about 6000km and would take around 1 day and 18 hours of non stop driving
each way.

Very nice idea Mel but would be a lot easier in a place the size of the UK than in OZ .. Massive trip from Tassie or from Perth WA ... You might get a few takers ....
