G'day blokes,
Just thought I'd drop in and say hello.
I have been doing alot of reading into the i30's and after going down to my dealer for a test drive, was told I could have the demo model I just drove for cheaper, and no 3 month wait!! (no esp/tcs or cruise though :P
all up 28,900
first brand new car, and so far.. loving it, especially the amount of torque it has for such a small car.
Regards,
Petey

Hey hey,
I udnerstand about the MB, doesnt seem many people do buy that colour (if i was ording my own it would have been silver tho )
I just remembered, I also received car mats thrown in
The car has done like.. 130 k's, just over a days worth of driving for me anyway, 02/08 build 03/08 delivered
and, im in sydney, Penrith actually.

No Worries Petey,
You will get lots of positive comments about your MB SLX.. Tim in WA has a MB SR model and it looks awesome. I wanted the Silver (wife chose MB - but it is actually a great colour)

Hey welcome "encounter" :)
-
awesome the slx crdimanuals keep multiplying
-
You gotta be careful with the i30's , you leave them alone for 5 minutes and you end up with another one appearing 3-4 months from then.
Think of the colour combinations though.... im thinking the moonlight blue is a cross between the continental silver and the more vivid blue(unsure on that colour name)
-
well done ! Slx crdi's
-
Hey Encountar.. the other blue is actually called VIVID blue
-
What a lucky guess! maybe i just had it on my mind my brother recently bought a Holden Barina (Daewoo Kalos) in a blue very similar to the vivid blue of the i30
Also,
I was told by my dealer I can pick my car up on saturday... now just to get the insurance and finance availble in time!!! alot of work to be done
7 days after putting a deposit on the car. starting to make me wonder why they had one sitting in the yard anyway? I'm assuming someone couldnt wait 3 months?
