Hello to you all from Australia. :)  :crazy1: :goodjob2:

I am just curious what this wire plug clip part is / what does it do? (the gray wire plug part immediately to the right of the oil filter cap)
(My car is a 2011 CRDi i30)

It was left off completely after my last service and every since that day the car turns off roughly. Not the normal shut down feel but rather a rough rumble turning off.

Any explanations?
Any help appreciated.

*please delete this topic if you all wish after the mystery is solved lol! *

This is on the early u engine in fd i30, from memory it actuates the air shut off valve  (where you would expect to see a throttle body) to prevent run on or runaway.
