If it drops at around the same price as the i30 with more gear it will be an interesting fight.....

Talk of a wagon....If they go a wagon might they have a diesel option??

Very i30ish isn't it! But no surprise there. I doubt Hyundai will let them bring in a Diesel wagon (They seem to hobble them a bit) :whistler:

This blue one from pic is new 2018 kia ceed design. It is 3rd generation of ceed in europe, not sure if there is ceeds in au. Cerato. Not sure about new one how he looks.

Our equivalent of your Ceed is known as the Cerato over here.

I think they hobble themselves. All the articles I read seem to point to Kia's decisions re diesel.  The main issue with the i30 tourer was the supply of wagons and the price. Hyundai have already shown there is a demand for a small economical wagon. If Kia can source a diesel at a good price I reckon they are onto a winner (who knows I might get one for the misses).

From further reading it seems that Kia must have secured some stock from Korea to be talking wagons. Hyundai can't so I reckon they will be happy to let them steal sales of their common enemy VW.

Throw in Auto Cruise and the 1.6 Turbo and even I'd consider one.. I think I like the look of the Elantra more though. It's not as nicely styled as the Stinger... :undecided:
