Title: Warning lights
Post by: Stevewilco on May 07, 2022, 16:19:01
Hi all, just a quickie, when I turn the key on my 2013 i30 sport all the warning lights come on, a cpl then go out after a cpl of seconds, however a few stay on until I start the engine. Then they all go out, is that correct? I'm sure most cars I've had they all go out after a few seconds before engine start
Thanks

I think that should be right, just tried the santa fe and a few of those lights stay on too until the engines started, either that or they both need looking at lol.

They cannot all go out before the engine is running. The alternator warning lamp is extinguished when alternator voltage is higher than battery voltage.
