Been away for a couple of days and came back home today from Perth to Aberdeen across the Cairngorm National Park.  I am going to create a full video with highlights from the drive for you, but thought you might like to see a Highland Bambi thankfully jumping away from the road (and my car).  Appears at 7 sec or so on the right hand side of the vid.

Actually it was a lot bigger than the vid makes it look, the 120 deg viewing angle of the camera kinda  betrays size a bit (well thats what I tell Kim :P :P :-[ :whistler: )

Haha, smart Bambi. We have a lot of deers over here. I meet them at least once a week in the summer, and almost every day in winter, when driving at night. I remember, I had to stop the car few times and wait till they crossed the roads (which happens usually very quickly) but this one night, there were two deers, that were just looking at me and I even opened the window and one was standing 3 m next to the car and just looking at me. I think they were there for like 30 sec. but it was really interesting.

But a lot of times, meeting a deer isn't as pretty as that. My friend hit a deer once and the car was really f** up (excuse my language). So, we have deers but you have kangaroos :D That fellow is even worse

We have some deers down here but they are timid and wary of cars and people (Kangaroos and wallabies are not)  :disapp:
