Hello everyone,
I am thinking of buying the genuine floor mats for the i30 FD. I see that they have retaining holes however I cannot find any hooks/clips on my i30s floor
to support them. Can anyone tell me what these retaining holes are for and if there is a way to install retaining clips?

The clips come in the kit with the mats. Easy to fit through your existing carpet.

Hi all, first post for me, JUST joined from New Zealand and am the owner of a 2009 i30 Elite Hatch in silver, and I must say, REALLY lovin' it!!!
But yes, I'm looking at mats also. But with the clips, does the clip just screw through the carpet and stays nice and firm?

When i had my fd i had mats but never bothered with the clips.  Never rode up.

The mats are still in the car, son now has it, and still no issues re movement.
