Hiya,

My friend has an I30 "edition" that we want to fit HIDS to, we have got a H7 kit and the globe fits fine however the wires that connect it up are totally different. They are a big block rather than the two male and female connections that it has on the HID kit. Am I being totally stupid or is there any way we can get round this?

Thanks for any help :)

Take a look at this video - after the obligatory advert.

In the UK - aftermarket HID kits are illegal and the car is likely to fail its MOT.

Cheers for the heads up Alan, already told him about HIDs being illegal (I have headlight washers and auto adjustment so legal) but he's adamant to have them. Only thing I can make sure is that they are aligned to the best they can without blinding.

Anyway managed to work out what we were doing wrong, turns out we were looking at the connectors that the ballast and the globe connect to and trying to wire them into the headlight. No idea why, especially as I had fitted mine the day before  :P
