Hi all,

I have an early 2008 2l premium. I drive typically 20k miles a year and listen to a lot of podcasts from phone connected via the aux input in the central console,  with the phone connected via a USB cable and adaptor to one of the 12v power sockets to keep the phone charged.

Until recently this setup has worked fine.

However,  recently with the phone charging,  I get no sound out through the radio,  although it works fine with the charger cable disconnected from the power socket.

I've tried alternative cables,  (audio and usb) power adapters,  and even an alternative phone and the problem remains.

It's feels like some form of ground loop between the power socket and the audio system,  any suggestions pointing to a solution would be VERY welcome.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul

 :wttc:

Sorry, can't help you, but I'm sure others will have an opinion about this.
