Hey there,

My rear license plate plastic lamp assembly is busted and one of the lights is hanging over the license plate. I've had the replacement part (which comes with 2 new lights, plastic casing and wires) for a while and I just need to get down and dirty to replace it. I'm not sure how to access the wires though. Do I need to remove the rear bumper for this?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

It is NOT necessary to interfere with the rear bumper. More info to follow.

Notice that removal for bulb replacement also removes the whole unit with wiring, so replacement should be simple.

I followed the instructions and replaced the plastic casing in 5 minutes on Saturday morning. Very easy to do once you know what needs to be done. Thank you very much for your help.
