Hi new to the forum. I have just got i30 2015 and noticed that the dark metallic painted part near door handle has a scratch or two, it’s a kind of satin finish. Does anyone know the colour reference or a very close colour that I can use to touch in? Thanks

I've been wondering the same thing... my 2015 Elite wagon had a lot of scratches on the silver part of the door trim when I bought it and I attempted to resolve with vynil wrap. Gunmetal colour is very close but the tricky part is wrapping this sort of curvy shape, so I'm far from happy with the results. Update - I have emailed Hyundai 3 times requesting help with the colour ref/code, no luck, seems I have asked a tricky question?

Here in the Great Southern Land of Milk and Honey, I can go to my local SuperCheap Auto shop and provide them with a code and get a mix matched aerosol can of touch up paint. Is there something like that in the Land of Rainy Skies and Gales?

No worries with supercheap auto getting matched paint for the outside of the car. Have done that with 3 separate cars...
The issue here is the colour is for the interior plastic trim in the Elite i30 GD. It's a gunmetal gray colour but the outside of my car is white.

Awful scratch resistance. My car was around 3yo when I got it and had a few scratches. I was thinking it was roughly treated but 5 years later it's scratched everywhere and I took care of it... My second car that's an i30 Active (still GD) doesn't have the problem as there's not metal colour interior door trim parts.
