Hey folks, has anyone bought those black bezel headlights to replace OEM? (someone called Thumper may have) I'm thinking about purchasing from Korean auto imports for about $400, I presume that's USD. Is that a reasonable price? Can you also get black bezel foglights? Do they fit as per OEM ones? ie same bolt in and no gaps around body panels?? Don't like the "bling" effect of OEM lights!!

Thumper made his own (he now drives a 4WD hyundai - so doesn't visit here any more) There is a how to guide on here somewhere (try the search function)
Maybe some of our Korean members have bought the after market ones.. don't think any other members have...
i30's made in the Czech Republic now get a version of them as standard...(another link worth a search.. I'll update this posting if I get a chance to look for them later)

im fairly sure i30s use a different headlight for rh drive and lh drive.you best ask someone whos had a headlight out weather or not they are marked lhd or rhd on back of headlight. cheers steve.
