Title: Position of crankshaft sensor i30 2009
Post by: alancm on September 15, 2019, 13:27:14
Hello all,
I am new to both the forum and Hyundai in general. Sadly it seems a Haynes workshop manual is not available for my i30 which came as a bit of a blow!

I need to find the location of the crankshaft sensor - there was a message in 2016 on here with a suggested link but the link no longer appears to work.
I have had the car for about a month. There is a problem with handbrake not holding on steep inclines so I need to look at that but yesterday my EPS off warning light came on then the rev counter stopped working and the car seemed to be pulling back when accelerating.
I saw messages on here that suggested replacing the crankshaft sensor to see if that resolves the issue but I have no idea where it is.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Alan
