Hi all I'm new to this group and new to hyundai
Must say I'm a bit disappointed, took to garage to get windscreen sensor fixed
When I got there it broke down
- garage said crankshaft sendor kaput - I have had the car 2 days and on day1 aircon was not working so got it regassed and second day this
Car is i30 ,2009 with 60K miles
OK only paid £3500 from used car dealer
I did my research and it was out of this and a quasqi but thought this was a nice drive but confidence in the car is taking a dip
Hopefully it gets new sensors and sorted
NB when I bought car 2 days ago I got 6 month rac gold warranty which I colleague at work says is about as useful as a pen with no ink
Any advice appreciated

Well, certainly low mileage for a 14 year old car. Are you sure the odometer reading is genuine?
I'd be interested in what the RAC warranty people say, although not being in the UK I don't know what it entails.

I got 6 month rac gold warranty
Have you contacted them yet?

According to the RAC web site the warranty is issued by ALA and the maximum age for a car to be covered by their warranty is either 6 or 8 years depending on the warranty level. The maximum mileage is 60,000 or 80,000. It seems strange that such an old car should have that mileage which happens to correspond with the warranty maximum. Hmmmmm???
Is the dealer misleading you and has the odometer been clocked. ? You need to ask a few questions of the RAC and the Dealer.
